I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ (Matt. 25:34-40)
House of Hope is a food and clothing ministry sharing the love of Jesus and meeting the needs of residents through a ministry of love and grace. The ministry gives out over one million pounds of food and clothing every year to over 2200 clients and families a month. House of Hope also makes available prayer support and counseling to them. The house of hope does not charge for any of these services.
The food and clothing distribution is every Monday from 8 am to 10:30 am.
The food and clothing donation is Wednesday from 9 am to 10:30 am.
House of Hope has been classified tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and all gifts are tax deductible up to the maximum extent of the law. The ministry is staffed by 150 volunteers and every dollar of the donations blesses the people directly.
The ministry accepts donations of food, clothing, house hold items, and money. It is not our intention that the urgency of any communication from us produces
a pressure or obligation for financial support.
Friends are invited to give only as they feel the Lord’s leading. It is our belief that God will meet our financial need through those who respond in the Holy Spirit-led manner.
